INTRODUCTION TO MANUFACTURING SUMMER COURSE
This course is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in a variety of production and manufacturing jobs. Topics covered include Introduction to Hand Tools 1 and 2, Math and Measurements, Basic Communication Skills, Team Work, Blueprint Reading.
This is a 40-hour (2-week) class held at the Career Link and taught by LCCTC. The dates are June 5 thru June 16. The cost is $550 per person. There is availability of grant funding to need based applicants.

APPRENTICESHIP Program = Full-time work + Classroom Training
- Work full-time int he electrical field.
- Are eligible for Veterans Education Benefits.
- Have a minumu pay-scale raise for every 1000 hours of work.
- Attend class 2 nights per week Sept. - April; or online, instructor-led classes.
- Get $$$ paid for their work
Minimum Qualifiecations for Apprentices:
- Must be 17 years of age, and have high school diploma or GED.
- Need a valid driver's license and your own transporation for getting to jobsites around the region.
- Cannot have any felony convictions in your background.
- Must pass a drug screening test.

Mondays 6-9 p.m. Mondays 6-9 p.m. Mon-Wed 5-9 p.m.; Thurs 5-8 p.m.
This revised course reviews the necessary skills assessed as imporant to the three sections of Critial Reading, Writing, and Math portions of the SAT. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to become familiar with the SAT format through sample questions and practice. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend each session and do the homework that is suggested
The fee for each session is $170, which covers the cost of instruction and an excellent workbook. Please register at least two weeks prior to the selected session.
