o        The College Board's website contains search engines for colleges, programs, and financial aid information. It also includes information about SAT, PSAT, and AP testing.

 

§   http://www.eCampusTours.com

o        View virtual tours of many college campuses across the U.S.

o        This site allows you to "visit" colleges online with multimedia tours. 

 

§   http://www.aboutcollege.com

o        A guide for parents, students about campus life today. The Q & A section provides answers to frequently asked questions about college.

o        The Princeton Review's site gives you access for SAT, ACT and AP test prep, as well as search engines to find colleges

§   http://www.petersons.com

o        You can search for colleges based on all of the things that are important to you! Location, size, cost, program, etc. Also provides information about scholarships.

               o   The College Accreditation Guidebook contains critical information for understanding accreditation holistically, including the benefits of accreditation, types, process, online college accreditation, outcomes, and a glossary of terms for those who are not experts in the field.

  • The Common Application is used by many colleges in the U.S. Check to see if the schools you are applying to will accept the "Common App" so that you can save time by completing one application for several schools!
